Save Our Green Belt Peaceful Protest

It was great to see so many people supporting the green belt in Hertsmere by attending the peaceful protest march last night. Despite the bad weather, a large number of people marched along Shenley Road in Borehamwood Wood to the Hertsmere Borough Council offices.

People were holding banners, chanting at the top of their voices 'save the green belt, yes yes yes' and even a tractor and someone dressed as a horse participated.

Once we arrived at the council offices, there were several speeches made including ones from the Liberal Democrats and Labour Party.
